Moveing Home To Ohio
Another beautiful day at the Villages, very warm and humid but they say we are going to have a cold front come through and it will only be in the 70's. Talking about a cold front, after much thinking and talking Charlie and I have decided to move back up north full time. It has not been a easy decision to make but it will work out best for us at this time of our life's. We have been in Florida for nine winter seasons and have enjoyed the beautiful weather, but are ready to settle down and be buckeyes again for good. We hope to travel and see a little more of the country side and take in all the beauty of all the state's. We will get a bigger trailer on Lake Erie this summer and have much more space then we have had the last few summers, and look for a small condo or home to live in during the winter months.
I will watch my little grand baby's grow up like I have watched the bigger ones. I guess when I get right down to it I want to be with my family more then I have been in the years past. Just an old fashioned family girl is what you can call me I guess. I have lost my sister mother and father and that was my family. Now I have Charlies and my children and grandchildren, my sister's family and Charlies sister and family. And to me life is family and friends. We have met wonderful friends here in the Villages and for sure will be back to visit often.
Above is a link that you can go to and see my house that is now up for sale. The reality did a good job with the virtual tour and they sure did take a lot of pictures of my little corner of the world. I will be taking you all along while I look at pictures of homes up north and make the big choice of my future home. I think that will be fun and I can get a little input from all of you guys. I should have called my blog........moving 101.........what to do and not do while you are moving across the states with a big moving van behind you.
Wish us luck on the big adventure ahead of us, now all I need to do is have a large glass of tea and sell my house. Till tomorrow.................Sharon Kay

you should not have any trouble selling such a pretty place.
I know you love Florida, I would but you are welcome to come on back and be a Buckeye with me!!
:-D
Hi Sharon,
You have a lovely home. Good luck on the big move! :)
Sharon thank you for visiting Nature-trail and come again. You are moving away from Florida and my hubby and I are moving to.He has retired and we feel or shall I say I need the warmer climate as winters here really hard on my arthritis..OUCH!! I am
a sunny kind of gal and prefer gardens and sunshine over skis and snow...too {{{{cold }}}}for me. I can understand that you want to be near the babies because we know how quickly time changes everything.
Best of luck to you!
Hello there, Sharon Kay,:)
I found your place from Kelli's. We live in FL right now too and I have been feeling some of my own MN homesickness pangs. Actually, it's kind of funny, because I was reading a book that takes place in Ohio and I was just looking over towns on the internet there and wondering what it was like living in Ohio. Unfortunately for me, I think your winters last about as long as our MN ones. :) Oh, well. How exciting for you to be preparing to head home! I hope your home sells quickly for you; things have been moving pretty slowly in our neck of the woods.
Well, come over and visit my virtual home some time if you like. I'd love to have you stop by. :)
Blessings,
Nicole
Sharon, I hope your home in Florida sells quickly and the move up North is as stress free as possible. It IS wonderful to be able to share in your loved ones lives. About my new chairs...you were right! Our decorator friend came by last night and pulled the chairs close to a round table..and filled the table top with family photos. Off I went today to buy special fabric to make the table a new skirt and to make some bolster pillowes too. I tried to post a picture twice but blogger would not! Hope you have a great Saturday...I'm off to a ladies retreat tomorrow...and looking forward to it but not the long ride to and from and getting up way early in the morning!
Blessings on the move. I'm sure your family will be tickled to have you home permanently!
Lovely home you are selling!! It will be nice to be near your family though. I certainly understand the move!! Good luck. Your house is so pretty it should sell quickly!!
Sharon, your home is lovely! Best of luck selling it quickly. Being near family is by far the most important thing, so I too can well understand your feelings.
I hope all goes smoothly for you.
Sharon, your home is just beautiful! I'm sure someone will snatch it up right away!! How wonderful that you will be able to live so close to your grandchildren!
Kelli
You have a very lovely home in Florida and you really shouldn't have any trouble selling it. I can fully understand your need to be with family because after all, that's what life is all about...family.
Being near family is very important to me and I fully enjoy it. I can still travel to any state I want to visit, but I know where home is. For years I split my life between two homes too and how nice it is to just have to keep tract of one.
I am trying to catch up a bit in blogland! We had our daughter, her husband, and their three children from Bosnia visiting us for five weeks. So I was slightly preoccupied. Back to Ohio for good, huh!?!? How soon will you move? I'm like you. I want to be close to my family. Hope everything goes well with your move.
