A Christmas MeMe................
I have been reading this Christmas meme on others blogs and thought I would join in on the fun........................
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate with a Cinnamon stick
2 Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree? When I was a little girl they were not wrapped just put under the tree, but now Santa helps me wrap them.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?. Little white lights and white lights in the windows.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? I ran out but I will pick some up the next time I am out..sounds like fun.
5. When do you put up your decorations? I usually put the tree and decorations up the first of

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?. The year I found my mutton coat under my moms bed before Christmas
8 . When did you find out the truth about Santa And just what about Santa do you want to know?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?. No.......never I guess that is still the little girl in me. I want to get up on Christmas morning and see the presents under the tree to open.
10. What kind of decorations are on your Christmas Tree ? White pearls and red apples with Victorian ornaments.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I have been in Florida for so long that I miss it and love it as long as I do not have to drive on the ice that some times follows.
12. Can you ice skate? Not for years and years, and then I was on my butt most of the time.
13 Do you remember your favorite gift? Any thing that my grandchildren have picked out and given to me.
14 What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Christmas cookies and peppermint and choc late ice cream
16. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? I think it is more fun to give but I do enjoy opening a gift or two or three or four................

That is a cute meme, but i just am to impatient to write every thing down.....sorry you haven't sold your house, but enjoy the winter.. it is raining, and raining, and raining here....and it is suppose to freeze......so send me some sunshine.....

My daddy used to crush peppermint and put it in the blender with vanilla ice cream so we could have peppermint milkshakes! Pure magic. His fried chicken was wonderful too...(we used lard in those days).
