Thanksgiving Blessings

Thanks giving day is a day set aside to give thanks for all the blessings we have. There are times that many things go wrong in our daily live and we think.....be thankful for what. I am sure we all have had many days like that to go through. And it is because of the daily trials that we have , that when all is well and good we should give thanks. I have my house for sale and it did not sell in the first month like I was sure it would. I am thankful that I have a house over my head to sell and it will sell in time. I would love to see my children and grandchildren this week but I live in Florida and they live in Ohio. I give thanks that they are healthy and safe and that I will see them soon.
I am thankful that Canndee and Joe and Hannah will be in Fl. this weekend and we will get to see them. I am thankful that Lee and his family moved back from Alaska and we will see them this spring. I am thankful that I got to meet Dana and her husband Jack in Florida and thankful that they sold their home and will be heading up north to be with their family.
I am thankful for Debbie who I have worked with and who I enjoy so much and her husband Jim who we always have a good time with. I am so thankful for the cushions breakfast where we get together with good friends. I am thankful for Die who has Nantucket Bay where I have meant so many wonderful people. I am thankful for all the wonderful friends we have in Ohio. I could go on and on and be so thankful for all the little things in life that we take for granted. And I am so thankful for Judy that had a blog and I thought, that sounds like fun. I have so much enjoyed all of the wonderful women that I have meant through this little would we call blogging. So I must say in this not so perfect world, we just have to take the time to realize how many little blessing add up to one big wonderful blessing and that blessing is called life.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving and I will be back on Friday. PS
Today was my first Weight Watchers meeting and I weighed in at 174.6 I was so happy that my scale was almost 3 lbs. higher then the scale that they use. Another blessing to add...

Hi Sharon, I'm a bit behind with visiting blogs but here I am:-) I loved reading your post about what you're thankful for...we tend to forget to give thanks for even the simplest things and just don't realize what we truly have and how blessed we are!! I love your attitude regarding not having sold your house yet and be able to go home to Ohio to be with your family...it will come in time, that you can be sure!! Sharon, would you be able to email me your home address? I'm writing out my Christmas cards and realized I don't have your address! My email is carole_57@hotmail.com Take care my friend, WE are the ones who are blessed for having such a wonderful person as YOU in our lives! xox
Please come pick up my 'friend' on your way to WW...and help her look at the sunny side of life!
Dear Sharon, you have a thankfull heart and its a blessing and a good reminder to all of us to be the thankful people we should be. God showers us with blesssings and provisions constantly, doesn't he! Thanks for the sweet comment you left me about my new dining room 'look'. Its been so much fun to see the transition and enjoy it. And, those first few days of 'awe' moments before things become commonplace. Thanking Jesus with you...for blessings great and small. Happy Thanksgiving my friend!
