A White Christmas
A green Christmas
It looks like I will have another green Christmas here in Florida. We made no plans for the Christmas holidays because we were not sure about what was going to happen with the sale of the house. It has been one month today that
the sign went up and nothing has happened.
the sign went up and nothing has happened.
I will get the family pictures and movies out and remember how things use to be.
I have a picture of a silver Christmas tree would change colors with a light that shown on it. That was in my parents living room and I think I gave my age away with that memory. lol
It is through that lens that every Christmas day I look back and remember how it use to be and I am so thankful for the pictures and movies and memories. So once again I will sit on Christmas day with my tall glass of ice tea on a 80 degree day and watch that movie once again while I wait for my house to sell so I can play in the snow next Christmas. Till later. Sharon Kay

Can't imagine Christmas in the sun, although some people spend a fortune for it. It's usually wet here in England, a white Christmas being somewhat rare especially in the fens.
Sharon-
I feel so bad for you. We lived in Miami for 3 years before coming to Indiana and it was torture for me. I NEED 4 seasons. We have been blessed with a snow every Christmas that we've been here. I am NEVER leaving! Good luck to you with your house. I know that selling one is so stressful.
We lived in Texas for five years and it never seemed like Christmas there...pooh!!
Do whatever it takes to make it feel that way dear Sharon, which I'm sure you will with your talent and imagination!!
:-D
I can't even imagine a Christmas without snow...here in Northern Ontario there's always plenty of snow at that time of year! lol Fingers crossed that you will get a buyer for your house soon...before you know it you'll be playing in the snow again:-) I love watching old home movies, especially the ones from Christmas time...wonderful memories indeed! Take care my friend xoxo
My aunt had one of those trees when I was a little girl, and I thought it was the coolest tree ever!
I'll play in the snow this year in your honor, and hope that things work out that you can do so next Christmas! :)
