And The Winner Is.................
Good Evening.........The winner of the vintage basket celebrating my one year blog anniversary is..............
Susan P. of http://home-place.blogspot.com/
Susan has a lovely blog called A Place Called Home which I have enjoyed reading very much. Susan has a way with words and tells beautiful stories. She is the kind of person that I would love to have as a next door neighbor.
Susan please email me with your home address and the vintage basket will be on its way to Virginia and a place called home...Every one please visit Susan and you will want to return often.
It has been cold in Ohio but you can see my Winston figured out how to stay warm real fast. I am waiting to see him outside with snow that is taller then he is. Now there is only a trace of snow and he pays no attention to it at all. Winston is saying hi to all in this picture.
We will have the house closing for the condo next Tuesday and leave with the key to our new home. We have been shopping and I am ready to make a nice condo in to my country cottage.. That may sound like a big job and I am not sure that I have ever seen a condo become a cottage ........but I can do this..............My big problem will be on the out side, which I can not do to much with........because they all have to have the same look.......but when you walk through my front door you will then know you are in a country cottage home. I have a photo album that I fill with decorating pictures....when I see a look that I like I will put in photo book and in that way I keep all of my favorite ideas together. I will put wall pater and borders, paint chips and any thing that pertains to the area that I am working o in the same book. The picture here is the colors that I want in my kitchen which of course is just plain old white with wood cupboards. Next week when we bet in the condo I will be taking the before pictures and after each room is fin shed I will take the after pictures. I have a lot to do but it will also be a lot of fun. I will post A few of the wonderful wallpapers I found on my next post. Ever one have a wonderful weekend and be safe....................................Sharon Kay

Congratulations, Susan P.! I'm happy for you!
Sharon, Winston's place to stay warm is similar to that of our cats! Whenever we build a fire, they are always right by it, enjoying the warmth!
How exciting about your condo -- I'm sure you will turn it into your own wonderful cottage! :)
I'll go take a peek. I like good story telling!

Oh my goodness what a sweet little pup you have! He sure looks content! Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh how I adore your Winston! We had a Yorkie for a short time or should I say he had us. LOL. We adopted him at the Shelter and he was only with us for eight months til he passed away. Those were some of the best months of our lives. Those little fellas are spitfires! and a great mouser too! We have two cats in the house and they just laid around being domestic goddesses while our little Jack did all the work.
Give little Winston a big hug from me!
Winston is adorable! I love Yorkies and love his name as well. He will have fun when he sees a but nore snow. It is really cold now isn't it? It took awhile but Winter finally found us in Ohio!
I am so excited for you and looking forward to seeing all you do! I have no doubt you will make it a warm and cozy cottage! It makes no difference what the outside is...: ) Love your color choices. Aren't you having fun?! Just enjoy every single minute of it!

Sue

And you're doing such a thorough job of finding/knowing just the look you want. I wish I could *come next door* and look through your book of ideas. Such fun! Oh you are going to have a marvelous time, with this project. And we will too, from afar.
