Home Again.......O hi O

Hi everyone..................
This blog will be in the form of a letter to let every one know that I made it back home. We started out on Wednesday December 27th. by going to the closing for the home in Florida that we sold. Every thing went well and we were on the way to South Carolina to spend a few days with Charlies daughter and her family. Then on to Finley Ohio to stay with friends for a night, then on the freeway to Toledo where we spent a night at my daughter Tammy's house. On Sunday afternoon we went to a friends house to relax and enjoy New Year Eve with four other couples. We had a wonderful time and a lot of fun and food. We left there on Tuesday the 2nd. of Janurary to get settled in Port Clinton Ohio where we will reside untill we find our new little nest I will call home........We have good friends who are in Florida and we are staying at there summer place while we look around.

We were settled in and ready to relax and rewind and find a place to put our heads down for more then a day when that awful bug called the FLU some how found us and attacked. I though how did that little bug know where we were. We had been so many different places , but no fear he founf me. I have been so sick the last few days I did not even care what day it was, I just knew if I could sleep through the next few days that would be the way to handle this nasty germ. Today is my fifth day and I feel all most human, and I want to advise everyone to get a fue shot.I did not get one...haha...I will now....way to early in the flu season not to get one. Charlie did get the flu shot and he also get the flu and felt bad but not as bad as I did....and his did not last as long........So the flu shot does help....take my word for it please.
I am truly hoping that it was my time to get the fuu, and that awful greeting was not my welcome back to Ohio.......as I told Charlie things can only get better.........I hope ..........

We have appointments set up to start looking around and find out what real estate is avaible in this area, and of course I will have my camera along for the ride. So sit back relax and come along with me while I look fo my new little corner of the world. Now I will take a little time and check in on my favorite blogs and see what good things are happening. Oh yes it feels so good to feel good..............................Sharon K.

Hooray! I'm so happy to find a new entry here!

So glad you're home. So sorry about the flu. {Yes, we always get shots}

Can't wait to "accompany" you on your house hunting. Oh please do take lots of pictures and share them with us. I just _love_ things like this. It will be so much fun to "come along," via the Net.

Rest! Get all better! Then start on your new adventure.

Hugs,
'MN'

I've only had the flu a few times in my life Sharon and when it hits you - you know it! Feel so bad for you just arriving and then being inundated with a rotten virus. Hope all goes well in the home hunting front- l tend to go with what my instincts are telling me- need to like the feel of the house. Hope that doesn't sound too weird :)
Lovely to hear from you and glad you made it safely on the long journey. Happy New Year to you and hubby xx
Ps- always a good idea to get the flu shot- l do.

Dearest Sharon, I'm so glad you made it to Ohio safely!! I was wondering if you were there yet! Sounds like a very interesting trip with all those stops to see family and friends:-) Oh dear, that flu is going around here too...my son Corey had it over Christmas and my friend June has just gotten over it after being really ill for a week...they both said how awful it was. I'm wondering how long before it gets me!!! Anyway I do hope you're feeling 100% soon and good luck finding a new nest:-) Much love xox

Hi Sharon, firstly, thank you for your kind words on my blog! So sorry to hear you've been unwell - there has been a nasty flu bug around here over the past month but it hasn't caught up with me (yet!) It sounds as if you had a whirlwind of a time over Christmas and New Year! All the very best with your house-hunting - it's such an exciting thing to do! Clare x
