One Year Blog Anniversery Vintage Gift Basket......

Hi to all my wonderful blogging friends................

I have been blogging for one year and it has been so much fun. I have met so many wonderful friends and enjoyed so many different blogs along the way. As a group of friends we have said prayers for each other, family and friends. We have shared blessings and helped each other in times of need. Some times we help each other by just being there. We share recipes, advice, decorating ideas, holiday cookies, and home made gifts.

Through blogging I have become more aware of good books, TV programs and which new movies are out there. I look forward each day to checking in on my favorite blogs. I enjoy the country cottage look, and any thing that is country, Victorian and vintage. I have found so many lovely ladies out there who share many treasures they find at antique shops or fairs. We share corners of our homes and wonderful decorating ideas. I have about 25 favorites and as I blog more I find more favorites. The gals who I blog with are all ages, and from all over the world. I will be decorating our new condo and will ask for advise from many of my blogging friends. So you can see that through this little blogging world that I am in why I enjoy the new gals that have become my friends.

I am going to put together a vintage basket something like the one below to send out as my anniversary gift to one of the lucky ladies that comment on this my one year blogging post......So good luck to all.......I will pick the lucky name out of a basket on Friday January 26,2007 at noon.

I again want to thank my friend Judy for helping me get started in this wonderful world called blogging. I will now think about my vintage basket that I will have fun filling full of vintage treasures. That will be fun..........Sharon K.

Hello Sharon Kay, I just read your blog on your Mother and JoAnn. I know how you feel. I miss JoAnn very much and cannot believe she has been gone for almost six years. Jo and I had some wonderful chats over the years. She was a beautiful person and had a heart of gold.
I know her and Dick are having a party without us and Aunt Ada watching over them to make sure they do not party too much. Maybe she is right in there with them tho.

Love you. CUZ Nancy

Hi Again Sharon, Well here I am once again trying to figure out how to use comments on the blogs. So I have left a few comments on several of your post instead of leaving just one. I am learning. I wish I was as far as you as you have done wonders with your blog. I love your stories and the pics you use are beautiful. You have been on one year and I have been on one week. I hope I do as well as you but I do not think I can match your way with words. Congratulations
Sharon Kay. Love Nancy

Congratulations on your 'blogaversary," Sharon! You expressed very eloquently the reasons I love blogging so much. Like minded women coming together for a cozy chat even though we can be miles and even oceans apart. What a blessing it has been for all us!
