Oh Christmas Tree..............

The house has not sold yet so I thought I may as well put up the Christmas tree and decorate for the holidays. I was hoping I would be in Ohio and visit with family and have a white Christmas but that is not going to happen this year. I have to be patient and hope it will sell early in 2007.

I have a few more decorations to do tomorrow and I will be ready for Christmas. We will be getting packages ready to send out and cards addressed. I do not think I will bake cookies this season because if I have them in the kitchen it will be to much of a temptation, and that I do not need while I am on Weight Watchers. I will just go to Sweet Pea's blog and look at all her baked goods and dream of what they must taste like.

I just got a phone call from a friend Diana from Ohio, she just won 11,500 dollars at a drawing and I am so happy for her and Bob. And what a wonderful month to win that much extra money. It is so nice to answer the phone and here such good news......You go girl...........

I have posted a few of my favorite decorations for the tree, and the glass box with lights was a gift from Candee, Joe and Hannah last year. My granddaughter Hannah and I went to see Happy Feet last weekend and it was wonderful. I enjoyed it as much if not more then she did. I would recommend the show to all grandmas and grampas and mom's and dads. She had to hide her eyes a few times when Happy Feet had a problem or two so beware of the few scenes.

Now for my Weight Watchers report.........not good..I gained a pound but I will do much better next week when I do not have to worry about thanksgiving dinner and a going away dinner. I have been going to curves and walking every day and I will do this.........................Till later Sharon Kay

I also wanted to say I shudder to think of the weight I've gained...I'm the type person that when I'm nervous I eat and I've been very nervous lately
*sigh*

That walking can only help. It builds muscle and you may actually go down a size even if you don't show weight loss.

I love your shoe ornament the best...how pretty! I'm with you...when I have sweets in the house, I end up eating them. Hope you've had a good day...your tree is pretty.

Like everyone else, I love your pictures. And I think I also love the Victorian shoe best. -smile-

You have an excellent attitude, concerning 'things which can't be changed.' [house selling] Puting up your tree and enjoying the Season! Good for you.

And as to your WW report.... You are so 'gutsy' to begin this, in the Holiday Season. I'm not _fully_ trying for new eating habits yet. But I hope walking will help me produce a new habit, and maintain weight. Then, after the Season is over, I hope to do more.

I applaud you! And I 'hear you' on the issue of cookies-in-the-house. -sighhhhhhhhhhh-

Lovely decorations and what great news from your friend. One pond over Thanksgiving, well I think that is definetly a success.

Now remember that you may feel smaller but weigh more and that's because muscle weighs more than fat. Keep up the good work on your weight and walking is great exercise.

I love your favorite ornaments...they're lovely.
