Ti's The Season

Happy Holidays

Ti's the season to start to decorate my blog for Christmas
And it just happens to be my favorite holiday of the year

I have always loved Christmas and I am and will always be a child at heart.

I can remember as a little girl waking up on Christmas morning and the wonder of looking at the tree and all my presents. My mom and dad and Santa always put my gifts under the tree and they were never wrapped. I remember the year I got a doll and high chair and a set of dishes. And I still am a child when I see the gifts all wrapped and waiting for Christmas morning for me to one more time have the fun of opening a gift that I have shock a time or two.
This Christmas season will be different for me because of having the house up for sale. It is hard to make plans when you do not know what is happening from day to day. I will wait a few weeks and if we do not have an offer I will decorate for Christmas in Fl. we will stay here and get the packages and cards for our family ready to send to Ohio and N.Y. I will again have a hard time not being with my children and grandchildren but I know next year we will all be together for the holidays and that will get me through.

We have good friends here in Florida that we have spent the holidays with and they are extended family and I am so thankful for them.
I am so thankful for all the wonderful memories of Christmas long ago when the whole family would get together and have such a good time. When my mom and dad and sisters family, would get together and open gifts and sing and celebrate the day. My mother father and sister are celebrating in heaven and looking down on me and know that all is well with the family that is still on earth. I do not know what I would do with out the happy memories and the movies of all the Christmas when we were together. Each year on Christmas I will get the movies out and cherish the camera that took the pictures.'myspace It is time for me to get my candy cane to stir my hot cup of Chai Tea with. I wish you a wonderful day, a day to start dreaming about Christmas wishes because........Ti's the season. Sharon K

Very well done Sharon!!! I LOVE how you've decorated for Christmas:-) As I've told you, adding stuff to your blog is kind of trial and error but you'll soon get the hang of it...no one taught me, I had to learn by myself so if I can do it, so can you:-) Like you, Christmas is my very favourite time of year and I'm worse than a child, I get so excited!! I'm baking again today but wanted to take a break and come visit my favourite people:-) I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas past also and I'm happy that I've kept on so many traditions for my boys! Happy Thanksgiving Day dear Sharon, all the very best to you and yours! xox

Your blog is looking beautiful!! I like the idea of not having to wrap gifts but I will...smile. Isn't Chai tea good! My friend gave me some Watsons Chai last Christmas and I will have to get it out and enjoy it again too.

Sharon,
Here I am in Port Clinton, it wasn't cold but the fog moved in and we had to cut Thanksgiving short cause of the weather. Bree and Mason love each other...Mason gives her a kiss each and everytime he sees her. I having that cup of HOT tea and putting on my hunting socks to keep my feet warm...think of me freezing when you want to come home LOLOLOL

You and Pea have put me into the Christmas spirit with your blogs. I pray that your house sells in Florida so that you can spend Christmas with your kids & grandkids beginning THIS YEAR.
I hope that you had a Happy Thanksgiving.

l bought candy canes today for Sam- we are going to make the crafts that Pea had on her blog. Can see you there stirring your tea with one and thinking. You are a very sweet lady Sharon and l wish we lived closer- would have you and hubby over for dinner!
Memories are precious- l miss my Daniel so much- especially now at dinner time. l wonder how he is coping and what he is eating. Kids grow up too fast but our memories are forever. l will have my wee mum up this year for Christmas day.
Much love
xx

Oh my! I love that you know how to decorate your blog for Christmas. I'm still so new to Blogger that even regular things are still a struggle. But I see that 'Pea' says she taught herself. So I take hope!

But I also know that I'm not the quickest of study's. Soooooo.... Oh well, it will be a work in progress for a while longer.
