Christmas In Florida

It was a beautiful December evening and we went for a walk, the temp was around 70 and there was a light breeze. It seems so strange to look at homes decorated for Christmas in such beautiful weather. I took a few pictures along the way for you to see.

We have been very busy during the day packing and getting ready for the moving sale. We are ready in the evening to rest and relax. All is going well because we do not have to be in a big rush. We will have the moving sale this weekend. Next week a pod will be delivered to our driveway. We will have a week to pack the pod up. They will pick up the pod and ship to Toledo Ohio on the 26Th. of December.
At that time it will be stored in a warehouse until be find our new home, and then it will be deliverd to that drive way. We know people who have used the pod system and have been happy with the results.

I will be packing up the computer desk and my big computer tomorrow but will still use my laptop to read blogs while I am waiting for the big move. This will be my last post until the first of the new year where I will be settled in at Dave and Gail's summer place until we find our new place. They are in Florida for the winter and by staying at there home we can take our time and look around until we find the right little nest for us to call home. I have enjoyed all the Christmas decorations and all the decorated pages you have been posting and it will help keep me in the holiday spirit by the daily visits I will have to your little corners of the world. Thanks so much for all the comments and good wishes I have received and as soon as I am settled I will be back. Please do not forget me while I am away for a few weeks and I want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year. I will be set up to post again next year.....Jan.2 2007
Love to all........Sharon Kay

Wow! Things are really moving fast for you. I'm glad your house sold quickly---even though it kinda' messes with your Christmas. Hope you will soon be settled up north with all your family. Merry Christmas!

I'm happy to see an update entry. :-) You will be in my mind, during this 'interesting time.' You seem to have the best of attitudes though. And will come through with 'flying colors.' And with lots of new/different Holiday memories.

Peace and Joy and Calmness, until we can hear from you again. And hugs...
