The House Is Sold
|
Well I did not think the house would sell the month of December......but it did sell and the tree is up, the house is decorated and the gentleman who bought the house wants the closing on December 27Th and wants the house on that day. So we are busy sorting through things and trying to decide what we want to take and what we want to sell. Evey thing is happening fast but we are happy that it is over with. It was on the market for six weeks and the way the market is right now I think we were lucky. As soon as I let go: and let God take care of things every thing went well.
We will be back in Ohio the first of January and take our time looking for what will be our last move for quite some time.
I will not be home for Christmas but I will be there for New Years Eve..and I can not ask for any thing better then that. I am going to keep the tree up for another week or two and enjoy it, but the other decorations are all ready back in there boxes again. We will be selling most of the furniture because it will cost 5 thousand to have it transported back and I want to buy new furniture when I get settled in Ohio. I am going to decorate with the new cottage style which I will enjoy, and we can go to flee markets, antique shops and auctions which both Charlie and I enjoy doing.
Charlie calls the move north a new chapter in our life and I do agree. After 9 years of spending the winters here I truly am ready to go home and enjoy this new chapter which will include my family the year around and not just in the summer months. We will be closer to Charlies sons family and will make a vacation out of visiting his daughters home in S. Carolina.
I truly thank God for all that I have and for alowing us to enjoy yet another chapter of the book called life.
