OHIO

Hi.......I would like to wish each of you a wonderful and blessed New Year. I have been very busy packing and geting ready to go home. I feel so blessed that every thing worked out so well with the sale of our home in Florida. It has been a busy month for me, but I was happy the whole time I was working on the house.

The Christmas tree was taken down a week before Christmas day and all our belongings are in the Pod ready for the trip north. We will have the closing on December 27th. and head to S.Carolina for a few days, and then we will be heading to Ohio.

I am going home to the area where I was born, the area where my family lives. There may be a few chills, a little snow and even some ice.........but I will have all my little sweethearts to keep me warm. I have had so many people ask me WHY.........would you want to go back to Ohio and why would you want to be in the cold weather.........At this time in my life I choose to be in the cold but have my family close by. So many of the people have just moved here or have been here a short time and I think a day will come when they may feel the same way I do. I also have to think that some of the coubles here have chuldren scattered allk over the United Stated ........where my children stayed in the town where they were born...the same town I was boen in and that is home to me.

I feel very blessed to start the New Year in a new place, to have good health and still be young enough to have so much to look forward to......The new things in life is what keeps me young at heart . We will have the time to look around and deside where we want to settle with out rushing, I will have a new home to decorate........which I will so enjoy. We will meet new people and travel more. I do have so much to look forward to and I thank God for all the good things in my life.

We will be with good friends Debbie and Jim tomorrow for Christmas day and a wonderful dinner. We were also with them on Thanksgiving day.....and Christmas day was to be at my home.........but of course plans changed when we found out the closing of the house would be two days after Christmas.

So happy to find a new entry here, even though I'm finding it, a little late. And I'm very happy for you, for the way things have worked out.

I think it's perfectly lovely that you are moving home again. {Spoken as one who spent 3 months in FL one year, and hated it. -giggles-}

You have tried moving to the "warm-place." You now know, that you really want to be home. Quite perfect, I'd say. You have no unanswered questions. Hooray for you!!!
