Early Morning Walk.........

This morning we went for our normal morning walk around the Villages and of course I took my camera along and snapped a few shots. Winston will walk with us and loves to lead the way. I am not sure who is walking who sometimes. It was a sunny morning with very high humidity and I was happy to come home and have a very cold glass of ice tea. I am sure when we move back to Ohio I will miss the sun that all most always shines in Florida. I spoke with Amy this morning after our walk and she said it is cold and raining in Toledo. Not a good thing, I always think that when the sun shines it helps with how we feel on a daily basis. I guess I have to give up something to get what I want.
The 4 sale sign is now up in the front yard and we had a couple walk through for a second time today, so that is a good sign. We have never had real good luck in selling homes and we think this time it should go right for us.........I like to be in charge of my life, and now I have to let go and let God. It will all work out in his time not my time.
I have to share an email I got from my 3 year old grandson Austin, I emailed him this morning and he wanted to email back, his mom told him that she would type word for word what he wanted to tell me....in his words... I love you gram I love you very much, I want to come over to your house sometime, can I come over to it? I love scooby doo and the shows are best. I love you gram. And of course that made my day....I have only been back in Fl. 3 weeks and I miss them so much all ready.
We are working with real estate people in Ohio but I do not want to find what I want until the house in Florida is sold. I have found a few homes I have liked and tow days later they are sold. We are going to keep the place on Lake Erie which I could never give up but we can only be there 6 months out of the year. We have to find some where to call home during the winter months. I can not believe how things have progressed with real estate on the computer, it is so easy to go through a home now, you need no directions and do not have to get in the car. I guess that is what we call progress. Just a short note about health insurance for all you working people. Keep that 401k growing......When Charlie and I retired 9 years ago we both had worked at jobs that promised us full coverage on health insurance, it was a part of our contract. If I worked for 25 years I would have the coverage. Well I worked 26 years because that perk was a must. Now between the two of us we are paying four hundred a month for the same insurance that was part of the contract. Beware just because they say it is covered does not mean a thing any more. I wish some one would have warned me about it, because it was not part of the retirement budget I had set up for us. I will now stop preaching and get of the band wagon..but I just wanted to mention the word free health insurance for life.....in some cases is not a true statement. I do not know how I got from my morning walk to health insurance but I guess it has been on my mind a lot.
Now it is time to sit a while and look at my decorateing books and dream a little, and of course pour me a big glass of very cold ice tea Till tomorrow.............Sharon Kay

Sharon Kay, the pictures of your walk were just lovely, thank you for sharing. Your little Winston is a cutie pie. I know exactly what you mean when you say that he "walks" you! LOL The note from your little grandson was precious. I hope your home sells real soon so that you can be back with your family. Blessings to you.
Sharon...I love the pictures of your walk and little Winston is so cute and I bet he is "the boss." *LOL*
Your little grandson will be so happy to have you so near once you make the move. His little email was so sweet.
Yes...many retired people are suffering with the high monthly premiums of their promised health insurance. We have relatives who didn't have a clue until they retired. Jimmy & I were lucky that he got what he was promised at retirement...with no surprises.
Oh, and I see that you got some pictures posted after all...good for you.
Your grandson sounds so sweet...I set up a private blog just for my grandkids with stuff just for them...they love it...I have a picture up today of them enjoying a video I put on it for them!!
Loved your pictures!!
